Booking terms

Deposits and payment
A deposit of 20 percent confirms your place. The balance is due 60 days before departure. Prices are per person in US dollars and are fixed once your deposit is paid.
Changes and cancellations
Cancel more than 60 days before departure and we refund everything except the deposit, which is held as credit for two years. Inside 60 days, refunds depend on what we can recover from suppliers.
If we change your trip
If we cancel a departure you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another date. Minor route changes caused by weather, strikes or closures do not qualify for a refund.
Insurance and fitness
Travel insurance covering medical costs and evacuation is required on every trip. Please read the pace rating on the trip page and talk to us if you are unsure.
