Overview
A first trip to Japan done properly. Four nights in Kyoto, a night in a mountain ryokan with hot spring baths, and four nights in Tokyo, linked by bullet train with your luggage sent ahead.

Days 1 to 2: Kyoto
Fushimi Inari at dawn, Gion in the evening and a tea ceremony in between.
Day 3: Arashiyama
The bamboo grove before the crowds and a riverside lunch.
Day 4: Nara
A day trip to the great Buddha and the deer park.
Day 5: Hakone
Ryokan night with kaiseki dinner and open-air baths.
Days 6 to 9: Tokyo
Markets, shrines, backstreet bars and a free day to explore.
Day 10: Depart
Airport transfer by train with your leader.
