Most travelers ask us this first. The honest answer is that both formats visit the same places with the same guides. What changes is who you share them with and who sets the pace.
Choose a small group if
You like meeting people, you are traveling solo or as a couple, and you want a fixed price with everything arranged. Our groups average nine people and rarely feel like a tour.
Choose tailor-made if
You have fixed dates, a family with different ages, or one thing you absolutely must do. We build the route around you and you travel privately.
What costs more
For two people, tailor-made usually runs 20 to 30 percent higher. For a family of four or more the difference mostly disappears.
