Seven days on the Amalfi Coast without a car

Driving the Amalfi Coast sounds romantic until you meet a bus on a hairpin. Here is how we move our groups instead.
Ferries first
From April to October, boats link Positano, Amalfi, Capri and Salerno all day. They are faster than the road and the view is the point.
Walk between towns
The old mule paths still connect the villages. The Path of the Gods is the famous one, but the stairs from Ravello to Minori are just as good.
When you need wheels
SITA buses run the whole coast for a few euros. Buy tickets at a tabacchi before you board.
