What a safari day actually looks like
Up before the sun, asleep by nine. The daily rhythm of the Serengeti, hour by hour.

First-time safari guests often expect to drive all day. The animals have other plans, and so do we.
5:30 am
Coffee at your tent, then out as the light comes up. Dawn is when the cats are moving.
11:00 am
Back to camp for brunch, a shower and a long siesta while the plains bake.
4:00 pm
The afternoon drive, ending somewhere with a view and a cold drink as the sun goes down.
8:00 pm
Dinner under canvas, stories around the fire and the sound of hyenas as you fall asleep.
